The MAb to human integrins can be used for immunohistochemical staining, immunoblotting and other immunoassays for cellular or tumour biology research. It interacts with the aIIb-subunit of β-integrins, specifically on platelets, megakaryocytes and leukemic cells that undergo megakaryocytic differentiation. A partially purified platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa complex is used as an immunogen for antibody production.
